    Born 25 March 1859 in Boston, Massachusetts, she only lived three and one half months.

    He was a pioneer in both Southern Utah and Northern Arizona
    Susan Smith Jarvis
    The Eastern Arizona Stake President's daughter married the boy from St. George and went on to become one of the stalwarts of the church in Northern Arizona.

  • Emeline (or Emmaline) Jarvis
    Emmaline Jarvis was the first child born in St. George. She married Thomas Cottam who later served (among other things) as President of the St. George Temple and Mayor of St. George. They had ten children.

  • Josephine Victoria Jarvis Miles
    Josephine Victoria Jarvis was a school teacher for many years before marrying George Miles slightly later in life. They had seven children. Shortly after their marriage, George was called on a four year mission in the Southern States.

  • Thomas William Jarvis
    Thomas William Jarvis was the last child of George and Ann Jarvis. He was killed by lightning on the steps of the St. George Tabernacle on April 5, 1881, when he was seven years old.
